The supporters of SC Arrancada booed when Bigorne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Cunha having to interfere. Humberto Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. António Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Cunha in the 23rd minute of play forced Bigorne's goalkeeper António Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Bigorne defense, Miguel Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of António Cunha. The Bigorne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that António Cunha should have stopped the shot. After 28 played minutes SC Arrancada got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Coelho. Miguel Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. António Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arrancada. 40 minutes into the game, Miguel Pinheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. António Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogério Faria hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Henrique Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Paulo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 52nd minute, Eusébio Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bigorne's Afonso Jesus got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Afonso Jesus struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Henrique Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bigorne. If Paulo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes of play, Bigorne's Afonso Jesus made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SC Arrancada getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rogério Faria hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Afonso Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Henrique Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to SC Arrancada getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alberto Gueifão hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Jesus in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. António Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Henrique Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Jesus's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Miguel Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but António Cunha made a huge save. If Paulo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bigorne's Paulo Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
