João Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Miranda having to interfere. Gil Osório took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Osório showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Soares in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cabrais's Vítor Aleixo got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Caldas got free with Gonçalo Miranda in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Lima in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Osório prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes of play, Cabrais's Fernando Lima made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Osório was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Lucas Caldas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Juvenal Álvares kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Gil Osório showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lima in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Unidos FC's Vladimiro Pinheiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Fernando Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Osório having to interfere. Bruno Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cabrais fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! João Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Diamantino Vidigal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Unidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Vidigal to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Carvalho, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
