Amadeu Vilela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. David Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dani FC's zone, Oliveira Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Regalado came out of the goal and Oliveira Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, SC Lajido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Pereira to maneuver through the defense. If Amadeu Vilela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Lajido's David Vaz got control of the ball when Álvaro Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heitor Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Regalado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dani FC's Mário Vargas got a free kick in the 40th minute. David Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Vilela, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dani FC's Ivo Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Melo in the 46th minute of play. If Oliveira Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Heitor Melo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Oliveira Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lajido's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Regalado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 played minutes Dani FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Semedo. After 55 minutes, Oliveira Campos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dani FC's Ivo Regalado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Dani FC's Amadeu Vilela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Álvaro Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Vaz having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Dani FC's Álvaro Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Armando Silva fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Lajido's protests and gave Armando Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, SC Lajido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Silva to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Álvaro Travassos put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of David Vaz. In the 83rd minute, Amadeu Semedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Dani FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oliveira Campos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 87th minute SC Lajido were awarded a corner. Gaspar Pereira went to the cornerflag to take it. When SC Lajido's Heitor Melo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dani FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mário Vargas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
