SC Mazes's Lúcio Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Matias in the 4th minute of play. Gabriel Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lúcio Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Ramos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Simão Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Nunes in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, André Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Mazes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Ramos in the 33rd minute of play forced SC Mazes's goalkeeper Lúcio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute André Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, António Matias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lúcio Garcia, 2-1. SC Mazes's Lúcio Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save SC Mazes from getting a goal against them. Lúcio Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Matias's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Matias to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Faria in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Gabriel Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. António Matias might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Matias ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Anjos's late challenge caught a Selao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Anjos helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Anjos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Emílio Viegas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Lúcio Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Matias in the 80th minute of play forced SC Mazes's goalkeeper Lúcio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Selao FC's Jorge Soares got control of the ball when André Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Soares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Mazes's Cândido Faria shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute.
