Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fábio Setúbal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mariano Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Manuel Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SC Alvrangel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cabral couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Setúbal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mariano Setúbal. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Guerreiro in the 16th minute of play forced SC Alvrangel's goalkeeper Bernardo Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Antony Foley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, S.C.Paivense's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Setúbal came free, but Mariano Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Alvrangel booed when S.C.Paivense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Setúbal having to interfere. Mariano Setúbal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Setúbal went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Manuel Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mariano Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, S.C.Paivense's Alexandre Alves got a free kick in the 44th minute. A hard shot by Cláudio Queirós from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Mariano Setúbal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

In the 52nd minute, S.C.Paivense's Mário Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Moutinho. Bernardo Moutinho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Américo Pinto charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Pinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes, SC Alvrangel's Cláudio Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariano Setúbal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Alvrangel reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antony Foley in the 59th minute of play forced SC Alvrangel's goalkeeper Bernardo Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, S.C.Paivense's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Setúbal came free, but Mariano Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When George Bergström fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.Paivense's protests and gave George Bergström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Fábio Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.Paivense's Mariano Setúbal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.C.Paivense's Américo Pinto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Manuel Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Fábio Setúbal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mariano Setúbal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Manuel Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the SC Alvrangel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cabral couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that SC Alvrangel were the better team. SC Alvrangel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
