Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valério Lousada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Miguel Faria made a precise shot to the right of Valério Lousada. Vargem SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 16 played minutes Vargem SC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Barroso. Valério Lousada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Faria in the 20th minute of play. Vargem SC's Valério Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Faria in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Faria in the 30th minute of play forced Vargem SC's goalkeeper Valério Lousada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sálvio Telinhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Evandro Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Vargem SC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Faria came free, but Valério Lousada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chairos FC's Tomás Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Belém in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Sálvio Telinhos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vargem SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Vargem SC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Faria came free, but Valério Lousada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Raul Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chairos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Lousada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

54 minutes into the game, Miguel Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Valério Lousada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Evandro Belém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Raul Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chairos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Lousada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Faria in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valério Lousada saved Vargem SC from getting behind. Valério Lousada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Faria in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Raul Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vargem SC's Germano Toscano got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Hugo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evandro Belém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Pinheiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Faria in the 89th minute of play forced Vargem SC's goalkeeper Valério Lousada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evandro Belém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Pinheiro having to interfere. Sálvio Telinhos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Tomás Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chairos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
