Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cogula's Emanuel Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Simões took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avelino Nunes. Avelino Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Amílcar Vilaverde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Igor Estrela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avelino Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Simões in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cogula's Afonso Gonçalves got a free kick in the 19th minute. Futebol Clube do Porto's Igor Estrela was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Albertino Esparteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertino Esparteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cristiano Marques made a huge save. Albertino Esparteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Simões in the 37th minute of play forced Futebol Clube do Porto's goalkeeper Avelino Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Joaquim Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avelino Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st play minute Albertino Esparteiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristiano Marques. 2-1. Futebol Clube do Porto's Avelino Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Simões in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Estrela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cogula's zone, Albertino Esparteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Marques came out of the goal and Albertino Esparteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd match minute, Cogula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Cogula's Cristiano Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Esparteiro in the 58th minute of play. When Mateus Vital fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futebol Clube do Porto's protests and gave Mateus Vital a yellow card for diving instead. Avelino Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Simões in the 68th minute of play. Joaquim Abreu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Cristiano Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Estrela in the 72nd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Joaquim Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Avelino Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquim Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Avelino Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avelino Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Abreu in the 90th minute. Albertino Esparteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
