SC Bugalhao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. André Salvado struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Cristiano Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stig FC. In the 25th minute, Jorge Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Rubim Menezes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Bugalhao's André Setúbal got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Gaspar Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Guarda scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Paixão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Gueifão to make the kick off. Inácio Gueifãos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Diamantino Paixão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Inácio Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Stig FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Pascoal Peralta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cristiano Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Gaspar Guarda made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Paixão. SC Bugalhao's Cristiano Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascoal Peralta in the 81st minute of play. Diamantino Paixão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Gueifão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Paixão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, one of Stig FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87th minute, Jorge Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Paixão. Stig FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. André Salvado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Pires having to interfere. SC Bugalhao played a much better game than Stig FC and deserved their victory. The Stig FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
