Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Almoinhas's Daniel Vieira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Almoinhas's Daniel Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipe Nogueira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. SC Covilha's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Silvano Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marco Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Covilha's goalkeeper Mário Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Amadeu Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Covilha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Almoinhas the free kick. If Silvano Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes SC Almoinhas got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Tavares. Silvano Brás who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Marco Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Silvano Brás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Covilha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Marco Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Daniel Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SC Almoinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Vieira couldn't finish the play. Mário Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Torres in the 43rd minute of the match. Silvano Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Filipe Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Covilha's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mário Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Vieira in the 61st minute of the match. If Joaquim Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Covilha's zone, Joaquim Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Severo came out of the goal and Joaquim Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mário Severo was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Daniel Vieira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Vieira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rui Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Amadeu Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Machado skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Almoinhas's Inácio Silva got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Silvano Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Covilha's Mário Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Vieira in the 93rd minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
