Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Lustosa in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudemiro Morais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Boavista Futebol clube getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aprígio Loureiro hit a great ball. Victor Manta struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Claudemiro Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desportivo Mirapraia. In the 44th minute, one of Boavista Futebol clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boavista Futebol clube. After the first half Desportivo Mirapraia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adriano Figueira made the kick off in the second half. Rúben Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudemiro Morais having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Adriano Figueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boavista Futebol clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Figueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anselmo Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boavista Futebol clube's zone, Anselmo Lustosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudemiro Morais came out of the goal and Anselmo Lustosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, Boavista Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nélson Candal to maneuver through the defense. Nélson Candal hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Boavista Futebol clube's goalkeeper Claudemiro Morais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Lustosa. 74 minutes into the match, Desportivo Mirapraia's Anselmo Lustosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudemiro Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nélson Candal kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match.
