A collision led to Barqueiro getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Manuel Viegas hit a great ball. Barqueiro's players were relieved. 11 minutes into the match, Barqueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Campos came free, but Joaquim Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Campos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Joaquim Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadaveira. A collision led to Barqueiro getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Artur Paiva hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Bento Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cadaveira and the Barqueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19 minutes into the game, Mário Campos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquim Mendes. Mário Campos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bento Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Joaquim Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barqueiro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Mário Campos scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Mendes, making the score, 2-0. Luís Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Fontes in the 31st minute of play. Mário Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Mendes having to interfere. When Barqueiro's Afonso Sousa in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cadaveira's goalie prevented a goal. Eusébio Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luís Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bento Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jacinto Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Barqueiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Fontes couldn't finish the play. If Jacinto Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cadaveira's Diogo Campos got a free kick in the 64th minute. A hard shot 68 in the game by Jacinto Fontes from a close distance when the talented Luís Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Cadaveira's players were relieved. The supporters of Cadaveira booed when Barqueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barqueiro's Joaquim Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Vale in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Lucas Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jacinto Fontes sent off a good shot on target. Luís Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Sousa in the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Afonso Sousa rounded Cadaveira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Barqueiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
