Hermenegildo Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7th match minute, Encherim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Matias to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Encherim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Tavares came free, but Hermenegildo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermenegildo Rocha came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Macainhas's Joaquim Tavares. But to his dismay, Joaquim Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th minute, Filipe Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Fernando Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alexandre Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Amorim during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mário Amorim hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Alexandre Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fernando Linhares sped through SC Macainhas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandre Mota. Fernando Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Filipe Setúbal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermenegildo Rocha having to make a save. Encherim FC's Filipe Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Encherim FC's Hermenegildo Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Tavares in the 69th minute of play. When Encherim FC's Filipe Matias in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Macainhas's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Linhares struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alexandre Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encherim FC. The SC Macainhas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Encherim FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
