With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Coimbra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Fernando Avelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the last second Inácio Fonseca throw himself and got hold of the ball when Armindo Álvares in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Inácio Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Avelar in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rana's zone, Eduardo Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Coimbra came out of the goal and Eduardo Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Sá hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
