Rana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Álvares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Assequins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Onofre to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Assequins FC's Pedro Salvado got control of the ball when Fernando Avelar tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Correia in the 18th minute of play forced Rana's goalkeeper Henrique Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rana's Henrique Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Correia in the 22nd minute of play. Armindo Álvares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Geraldo Horta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geraldo Horta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Henrique Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Horta, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Assequins FC's Pedro Salvado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Álvares in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Armindo Álvares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assequins FC the free kick. Pedro Salvado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Álvares's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Pedro Salvado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Avelar in the 91st minute of the match. Assequins FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
