Alexandre Macena took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Campos. Manuel Campos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Alfredo Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Maurício Parente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The coaching staff of Boque protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pedro Antunes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ricardo Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Carvalho having to interfere. If Máximo Lemos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Ricardo Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Boque's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Máximo Lemos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 99 minutes into the match, Boque's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Macena came free, but Manuel Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
