André Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aldo Pinhal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, SC Taipadas's goalkeeper Aldo Pinhal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Pinho. SC Taipadas's Aldo Pinhal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Setúbal in the 10th minute of play. If Gregório Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Atadoa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Gregório Valadão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Valadão in the 25th minute of the match. Eduardo Veiga came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Taipadas's Aprígio Laureano. But to his dismay, Aprígio Laureano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Miguel Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atadoa FC's protests and gave Miguel Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atadoa FC's Miguel Esteves got a free kick in the 30th minute. When SC Taipadas's Aprígio Laureano in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atadoa FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Atadoa FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alexandre Pinho hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Aprígio Laureano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atadoa FC's Eduardo Veiga. Eduardo Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Taipadas's Aldo Pinhal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Setúbal in the 41st minute of play. Alexandre Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Atadoa FC's Eduardo Veiga got control of the ball when Gregório Valadão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aprígio Laureano in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Atadoa FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregório Valadão. Rui Lages could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eduardo Veiga made a huge save. A hard shot 75 in the game by Gregório Valadão from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Veiga managed to make a qualified save. Atadoa FC's players were relieved. Atadoa FC's Alexandre Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Pinho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aldo Pinhal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atadoa FC. Aldo Pinhal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Eduardo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Valadão in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aprígio Laureano managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Taipadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Aprígio Laureano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Taipadas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
