Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Peroguarda FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vasco Assis hit a great ball. Eusébio Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Peroguarda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Moniz came free, but Cláudio Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Amaro having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Vasco Assis made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Amaro. Ancede's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 50 minutes into the match, Peroguarda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Moniz came free, but Cláudio Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Eusébio Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Vieira's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Eusébio Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Almeida, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Ancede booed when Peroguarda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Moniz struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cláudio Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancede. Peroguarda FC's Cláudio Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Peroguarda FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Filipe Moniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Viana was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Ancede's Inácio Machado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cláudio Viana. Joaquim Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Amaro having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
