Ancede's Eusébio Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Valverde in the 4th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Dimas Barroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warriors FC and the Ancede players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dimas Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Warriors FC's goalkeeper Adriano Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Gomes. If Filipe Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusébio Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Trigueiro in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Filipe Moniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warriors FC's Adriano Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes Ancede got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Matias. After a rather tough play, Warriors FC's Augusto Alves got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ancede's Afonso Brás tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Warriors FC booed when Ancede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. The excitement rose when Warriors FC's José Sequeira after 25 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Ancede's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. Vicente Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Leão having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Óscar Valverde in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vicente Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Inácio Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ancede and the Warriors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adriano Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Moniz in the 40th minute of the match. If Filipe Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ancede players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Warriors FC were winning 0-1.
Adriano Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Moniz in the 51st minute of play. Warriors FC's Óscar Valverde got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adriano Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filipe Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Warriors FC! Adriano Leão had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Afonso Brás's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 67th minute, Afonso Brás made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Leão. Warriors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dimas Barroso got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Adriano Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 81st minute Filipe Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adriano Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Gaspar Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ancede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warriors FC the free kick. A collision led to Ancede getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gaspar Pereira hit a great ball. Vicente Gomes struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adriano Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancede. If Filipe Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
