Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sérgio Azevedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Silvano Bragança shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Henriques made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Dimas Macena sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, f.c.campeoes's Catarino Magalhães got a free kick in the 10th minute. Alexandre Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Azevedo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Raul Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Bragança, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Henriques made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Dimas Macena sent off a good shot on target. Raul Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gentil Madeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Inácio Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by f.c.campeoes's Sérgio Azevedo. But to his dismay, Sérgio Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34th minute, Inácio Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Maia struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alexandre Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for f.c.campeoes. Raul Henriques made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dimas Macena sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Mário Gaspar put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in f.c.campeoes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dimas Amaro scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Henriques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of f.c.campeoes booed when Fornos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Inácio Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. f.c.campeoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Afonso Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fornos FC's Alexandre Ribeiro got control of the ball when Catarino Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inácio Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Ribeiro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Catarino Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. f.c.campeoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 83 minutes, Inácio Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. f.c.campeoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimas Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. f.c.campeoes played a much better game than Fornos FC and deserved their victory. The Fornos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
