After 6 minutes of play, fc setimo primeira's Lucílio Cortez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aprígio Cesário was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Carmona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, fc setimo primeira's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Carmona came free, but Gil Eanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Jota Qatar Team's Maurício Carmona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Eanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Caetano Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Gil Eanes. fc setimo primeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gil Eanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Vital in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Alex Vital fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gil Eanes, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Carmona in the 34th minute of play forced fc setimo primeira's goalkeeper Gil Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Carmona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Eanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurício Carmona to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Jota Qatar Team got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Salgado. A collision led to Jota Qatar Team getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alex Vital hit a great ball. If Alex Vital had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Alex Vital shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, fc setimo primeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Carmona struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gil Eanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jota Qatar Team. Gil Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Carmona in the 77th minute of play. In the 84th minute Maurício Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Eanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Vital in the 85th minute of the match. If Maurício Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
