Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Carmona in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Resende's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Aprígio Cesário skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Candeiro FC's António Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Jota Qatar Team got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Salgado. A hard shot 21 in the game by Vítor Resende from a close distance when the talented Aprígio Cesário managed to make a qualified save. Jota Qatar Team's players were relieved. Alex Vital might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Vital ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Alex Vital shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jota Qatar Team's Aprígio Cesário proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Jota Qatar Team from getting a goal against them. If António Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Jota Qatar Team's Aprígio Cesário got control of the ball when Vítor Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Maurício Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Candeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Carmona came free, but Gaspar Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Fonseca hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurício Carmona to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Vital took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Amorim. Gaspar Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Alex Vital could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Gaspar Amorim however easily saved by the left post. In the 62nd minute Maurício Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maurício Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Candeiro FC's Vítor Resende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aprígio Cesário made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Resende in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aprígio Cesário saved Jota Qatar Team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jota Qatar Team's Caetano Salgado got a free kick in the 71st minute. 78 minutes into the match, Candeiro FC's António Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aprígio Cesário narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Amorim was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Maurício Carmona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurício Carmona really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Joaquim Pereira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Joaquim Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Resende in the 91st minute of play forced Jota Qatar Team's goalkeeper Aprígio Cesário to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jota Qatar Team's Alex Vital got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Jota Qatar Team players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Candeiro FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
