Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adolfo Neto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Adolfo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Aristides Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fondevila's goalkeeper Tomás Carmona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Leiroz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Neto to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Aristides Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Leiroz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Caetano Benevides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Matias Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Neto in the 26th minute of play forced Fondevila's goalkeeper Tomás Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Aristides Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Benevides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Caetano Benevides made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Jorge Cavaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cavaco in the 62nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Leiroz's Adolfo Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Carmona. That made the score 0-1 after 64 minutes of play. Paulo Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tomás Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. But to his dismay, Paulo Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 85th minute Adolfo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Aristides Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leiroz's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Carmona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Pestana hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Aristides Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Tomás Carmona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leiroz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Neto in the 92nd minute of play forced Fondevila's goalkeeper Tomás Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Cavaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fondevila fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leiroz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
