Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Campos made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th match minute, Foros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Campos to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th match minute, Foros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Foros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Esparteiro came free, but Rui Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Portista FC's Edgar Quirino got a free kick in the 20th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Foros FC's Abel Coelho tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Foros FC's Abel Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Campos in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Foros FC's zone, Raimundo Esparteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Setúbal came out of the goal and Raimundo Esparteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Abel Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Foros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Mendes couldn't finish the play. If Joaquim Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Guimarães during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Belchior Lemos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Raimundo Esparteiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Foros FC's Rui Setúbal. Rui Setúbal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Esparteiro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Portista FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abel Mendes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Foros FC's Joaquim Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Diegues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Campos in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Raimundo Esparteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portista FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Esparteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Foros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Leão to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Foros FC's Abel Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Normando Diegues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Foros FC booed when Portista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Esparteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Setúbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Raimundo Esparteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Setúbal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to Foros FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. António Andrade hit a great ball. Rui Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Esparteiro in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Raimundo Esparteiro put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rui Setúbal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
