Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leal Guterres made the kick off which started today's match. Diogo Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diogo Coelho hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Argova's Afonso Taveira got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Augusto Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Reis was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Telmo Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Argova's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Torres came free, but Telmo Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Tomás Bernardes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Bernardes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Reis having to make a save. If Leal Guterres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Telmo Reis came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Abacas FC's Diogo Coelho. But to his dismay, Diogo Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Argova got a freekick which was hit by Juliano Valadares. Bernardo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Telmo Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abacas FC. 55 minutes into the match, Argova's goalkeeper Telmo Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Gaspar. Telmo Reis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bernardo Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Argova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Augusto Torres scored to the left of an out of position Telmo Reis, making the score, 0-3. In the 67th minute of the match, Augusto Torres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Telmo Reis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomás Bernardes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Argova's zone, Bernardo Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Reis came out of the goal and Bernardo Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Augusto Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Telmo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Argova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Augusto Torres scored to the left of an out of position Telmo Reis, making the score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Abacas FC's Bernardo Gaspar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Reis. That made the score 0-5 after 85 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the match, Abacas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Guterres came free, but Alexandre Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Argova's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Gaspar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Francisco Leão's late challenge caught a Argova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Leão helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Argova booed when Abacas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball.
