Carlos Perdigão made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jorge Brito sent off a good shot on target. Bustelos FC's Carlos Perdigão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Bustelos FC from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes abcdCF got a freekick which was hit by Marco Fontes. Gentil Gameiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. José Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. abcdCF's José Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Prates in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Tomás Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the abcdCF and the Bustelos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomás Reis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Joaquim Cerqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Macieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Carlos Perdigão managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when abcdCF's Marco Henriques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Perdigão having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match Diego Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Viana skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute Gentil Gameiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Baltasar Macieira made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Oliveira got free with José Viana in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Macieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Jorge Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bustelos FC's Carlos Perdigão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Bustelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Prates. When Jorge Brito came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the abcdCF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Brito couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Baltasar Macieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Diego Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Prates kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. José Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Macieira in the 75th minute of play. Carlos Perdigão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Henriques in the 78th minute of play. José Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gentil Gameiro in the 85th minute.
