Cláudio Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danilo Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cláudio Martins came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Vieiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Martins couldn't finish the play. Elias Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Danilo Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Vieiro FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Vieiro FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rafael Maia hit a great ball. Torrados's Elias Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Martins in the 73rd minute of play. Manuel Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Prestes having to interfere. Elias Prestes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cláudio Martins sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vieiro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Manuel Pereira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elias Prestes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Torrados's Elias Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Martins in the 94th minute of play. If Manuel Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
