Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino Teles kicked off to start the match. Hugo Castelo Branco hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When FC RMNP's André Resende in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arrifes's goalie prevented a goal. André Resende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gusmão Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Arrifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Castelo Branco to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Faro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Adélio Moutinho sent off a good shot on target. André Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrifes's Severino Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Resende to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Severino Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Arrifes's goalkeeper Gusmão Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Cabral. If André Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gusmão Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Resende in the 67th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Arrifes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC RMNP:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, André Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC RMNP's supporters rose to their feet, but André Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gusmão Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC RMNP's Joaquim Aguiar got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alexandre Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adélio Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
