The Montenegrelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. FC do Cabo's Stasio Jajesniak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC do Cabo from getting a goal against them. Armindo Nogueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Pereira got free with Stasio Jajesniak in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stasio Jajesniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Valente in the 45th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Stasio Jajesniak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Nogueira in the 94th minute of play forced FC do Cabo's goalkeeper Stasio Jajesniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, FC do Cabo's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Nogueira came free, but Stasio Jajesniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montenegrelo fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC do Cabo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
