Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Moura got the match started through his kick off. In the 11th minute Basílio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Paulo Moura notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caceteiros's Amado Machado. Amado Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amado Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Basílio Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Amado Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Moura scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bernardes in the 39th minute of play forced Esmoris FC's goalkeeper Raul Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Esmoris FC's goalkeeper Raul Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Bernardes. In the 41st minute Renato Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Malta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Bernardes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Carvalho having to interfere. A collision led to Esmoris FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rui Magalhães hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Caceteiros's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Gonçalves came free, but Amado Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caceteiros's attentive Carlos Bernardes managed to snatch the ball when Heitor Ferro made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bernardes in the 59th minute of play forced Esmoris FC's goalkeeper Raul Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Renato Malta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caceteiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Malta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renato Malta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Esmoris FC's Fábio Gonçalves got a free kick in the 69th minute. Amado Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Esmoris FC booed when Caceteiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Bernardes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Carlos Bernardes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 79th minute, Renato Malta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Raul Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Renato Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Malta during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Esmoris FC booed when Caceteiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Malta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Miranda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 97th playminute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Caceteiros lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
