Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adao FC's Gustavo Guarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 minutes of play, Adao FC's Gustavo Guarda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandrino Moura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viriato Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandrino Moura having to interfere. Gustavo Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandrino Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Gustavo Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pardo's Alexandrino Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Ferro in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Adao FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Ferro. Idalécio Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Idalécio Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Idalécio Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes, Adao FC's Afonso Castro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandrino Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Adao FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Viriato Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandrino Moura was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Alexandrino Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Setúbal in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Nunes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Adao FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Nunes. After a defensive mix-up in Adao FC's zone, Alex Serpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Aleixo came out of the goal and Alex Serpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Adao FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Baltasar Cesário made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Nunes got free with Alexandrino Moura in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute of the match Heitor Conde sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Aleixo skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Adao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Cesário came free, but Vítor Aleixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Cesário sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baltasar Cesário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Alex Serpa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adao FC's Vítor Aleixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Óscar Ferreira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gustavo Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Adao FC's Viriato Ferro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandrino Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Viriato Ferro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandrino Moura. That made the score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play. After 95 played minutes Adao FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Magalhães. When the match was over Adao FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pardo throughout the match.
