Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leal Flores kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Bostofrio FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Coelho. 6 minutes into the game, Miguel Aleixo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Manso. Miguel Aleixo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Leal Flores came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SC Cubos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal Flores couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bostofrio FC's Afonso Barros got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute, André Caldas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bostofrio FC's Sebastião Tavares didn't even have to move. Afonso Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Paulino Manso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Domingos Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bostofrio FC and the SC Cubos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. SC Cubos's Paulino Manso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Aleixo in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Manso having to interfere. The supporters of Bostofrio FC booed when SC Cubos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Peseiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Aleixo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Manso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leal Flores might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastião Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leal Flores ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Coelho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 49thth minute, Paulino Manso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Paulino Manso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Aleixo in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Cubos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alfredo Peseiro hit a great ball. When Bostofrio FC's Miguel Aleixo in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cubos's goalie prevented a goal. If Albérico Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leal Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Tavares having to interfere. Paulino Manso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Bostofrio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. If Leal Bandeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cubos's zone, Pedro Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Manso came out of the goal and Pedro Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joaquim Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bostofrio FC's protests and gave Joaquim Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Gomes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Miguel Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bostofrio FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
