Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pascoal Calado started the match with the kick off. Pascoal Calado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nuno Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sola Gasta Futebol Clube's zone, Lúcio Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrício Baptista came out of the goal and Lúcio Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Calado in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Pedro Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frutuaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrício Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Pedro Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Patrício Baptista made a huge save. Pascoal Calado scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Santarém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frutuaria's Lúcio Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrício Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Branco in the 35th minute of play. Norberto Sardinha charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Sardinha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Sardinha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes Frutuaria got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Mendes. After a defensive mix-up in Frutuaria's zone, Silvério Bandeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lúcio Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frutuaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrício Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Lúcio Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Patrício Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
