Adolfo Pacheco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Krad Fire's Alfredo Garcia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Duarte Azevedo but with some difficulty. Alfredo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Duarte Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krad Fire's Adolfo Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Vieira in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Abitureiras's zone, Diamantino Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Azevedo came out of the goal and Diamantino Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Alfredo Cabral made the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Domingos Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Abitureiras's protests and gave Domingos Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. Domingos Pinho hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SC Abitureiras's Luís Assunção got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rui Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krad Fire's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Krad Fire's goalkeeper Adolfo Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Santos. In the 70th minute, Viriato Faria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Pacheco. The goal made the score 1-2. After some careless play in the SC Abitureiras defense, Diamantino Matias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Azevedo. The SC Abitureiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Carlos Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Duarte Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Matias in the 86th minute of play forced SC Abitureiras's goalkeeper Duarte Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes, Krad Fire's Diamantino Matias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Krad Fire reached it. When Alfredo Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Krad Fire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Garcia couldn't finish the play. In the 94thth minute of the game Alfredo Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Abitureiras's Duarte Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krad Fire were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
