The supporters of SC Tafe booed when cdc Macieira de Cambra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 15th minute of the match Cristiano Reis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mário Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mário Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Pereira in the 16th minute of play. Francisco Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mário Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Osório in the 25th minute of play forced SC Tafe's goalkeeper Gil Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 29 in the game by Gonçalo Soares from a close distance when the talented Mário Machado managed to make a qualified save. cdc Macieira de Cambra's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the game, Francisco Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mário Machado. Francisco Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Tafe's Francisco Pereira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mário Machado. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, cdc Macieira de Cambra's Eurico Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mário Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Pereira in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Gonçalo Soares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gonçalo Soares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Mário Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Pereira made a kick off. If Vivaldo Osório had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vivaldo Osório kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mário Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Soares went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Gonçalo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Pereira in the 73rd minute of play forced cdc Macieira de Cambra's goalkeeper Mário Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Osório was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. cdc Macieira de Cambra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Tafe the free kick. SC Tafe's Gonçalo Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Francisco Pereira notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of cdc Macieira de Cambra's Mário Machado. Mário Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Francisco Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Tafe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Soares notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of cdc Macieira de Cambra's Mário Machado. Mário Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the game, SC Tafe's Gonçalo Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. SC Tafe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of cdc Macieira de Cambra for a fine match.
