Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Porto's Laurentino Rebocho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laurentino Rebocho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Laurentino Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Perozinho's goal looked a bit too open when Laurentino Rebocho came free, but André Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurentino Rebocho might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Morais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurentino Rebocho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Emanuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. David Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Morais having to interfere. David Brás struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. André Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto. Emanuel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. João Trigueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Branco to make the kick off. Perozinho's André Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurentino Rebocho in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Laurentino Rebocho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porto's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurentino Rebocho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurentino Rebocho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Estrela during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, David Estrela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Porto getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ivan Meireles hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Perozinho's Carlos Pedroso tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Coelho in the 72nd minute of play forced Porto's goalkeeper João Trigueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurentino Rebocho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurentino Rebocho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Emanuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Óscar Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porto were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Perozinho to leave the ground with a draw.
