Compostela's Joel Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Moura in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Daniel Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Dragon Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petter Karlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Moura in the 16th minute of play. Carlos Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Américo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Cristiano Carvalho could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Carlos Carvalho however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petter Karlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petter Karlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Joel Santos made a huge save. After 64 played minutes F.C.Dragon Team got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Cordeara. Petter Karlberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joel Santos could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Compostela's Paulo Cabral got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, F.C.Dragon Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Assis came free, but Carlos Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Faria in the 74th minute of the match. F.C.Dragon Team's Carlos Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Carvalho in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Bento Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Carvalho. F.C.Dragon Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bento Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The supporters of F.C.Dragon Team booed when Compostela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Cristiano Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Karlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Joel Santos made a huge save. 94 minutes into the game, Compostela's Gustavo Assis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Compostela had won after a very even match.
