Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Gaspar started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, SC Paradamonte's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristiano Mendes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cristiano Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Pilar's Sebastião Henriques got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Paradamonte's Amável lacerda got control of the ball when Sebastião Henriques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Tobias Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, SC Paradamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Mendes came free, but Amável lacerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Cristiano Mendes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cristiano Mendes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. SC Pilar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Pedroso during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Pilar getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Joaquim Pedroso hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Paradamonte booed when SC Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SC Paradamonte's Amável lacerda got control of the ball when Sebastião Henriques tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sebastião Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SC Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Henriques couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Mendes made a kick off. If Sebastião Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Paradamonte's Amável lacerda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Mendes in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Mendes in the 60th minute of play forced SC Paradamonte's goalkeeper Amável lacerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, SC Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes SC Paradamonte got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Malheiro. Sebastião Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sebastião Henriques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Paradamonte's Amável lacerda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amável lacerda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Homero Sacadura's late challenge caught a SC Pilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Homero Sacadura helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Paradamonte's Homero Sacadura got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Cristiano Mendes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Paradamonte's Amável lacerda. Amável lacerda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, SC Pilar's Cristiano Matias got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cristiano Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amável lacerda having to interfere. There was no doubt that SC Pilar were the better team. SC Pilar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
