Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Congeto's Eduardo Santarém started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severiano Madruga came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Oliveira could save by the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Makengo Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Santarém came free, but Sidónio Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Idalécio Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Makengo Sports defense, Eduardo Santarém kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidónio Azeredo. The Makengo Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidónio Azeredo should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Jorge Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidónio Azeredo. Makengo Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 14 minutes, Cristóvão Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Congeto and the Makengo Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Alves hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Jorge Leão notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Makengo Sports's Sidónio Azeredo. Sidónio Azeredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidónio Azeredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Armindo Borges fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Congeto's protests and gave Armindo Borges a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Congeto's Armindo Borges got a free kick in the 35th minute. Severiano Madruga struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jorge Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makengo Sports. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Sacadura was the one to do the kick off. Sidónio Azeredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Leão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Mariano Oliveira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jerónimo Candeias charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerónimo Candeias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Makengo Sports getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jerónimo Candeias hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Congeto booed when Makengo Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerónimo Estrela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sidónio Azeredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Congeto's zone, Baltasar Sacadura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Oliveira came out of the goal and Baltasar Sacadura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Severiano Madruga came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Makengo Sports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Madruga couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eduardo Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Congeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Santarém was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidónio Azeredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sidónio Azeredo made a huge save. The supporters of SC Congeto booed when Makengo Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerónimo Candeias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Makengo Sports's Sidónio Azeredo got control of the ball when Jorge Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Congeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Severiano Madruga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, SC Congeto's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Sacadura came free, but Jorge Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Congeto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
