Artur Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Nascimento in the 38th minute of the match. The long shot by Eusébio Marques in the 43rd minute really tested Joel Nascimento's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, SC Medas's Joel Nascimento got control of the ball when Nuno Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Nascimento in the 48th minute of play forced SC Raivo's goalkeeper Artur Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Delfim Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute.
