Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diego Valentim made the kick off which started today's match. Hermano Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bernardo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Miguel Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmiro Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Palmiro Paredes managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Maragota's Jaime Faria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Miguel Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palmiro Paredes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Maragota's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Valentim came free, but Bernardo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hermano Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute of the match Maragota got a corner. Os Côdeas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Aguiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Maragota's Joaquim Aguiar to fire away a dangerous shot which Palmiro Paredes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Diego Valentim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermano Cordeiro in the 25th minute of play. Tiago Matos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hermano Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Danilo Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Maragota were awarded a corner. Joaquim Aguiar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Maragota's Fernando Tavares to fire away a dangerous shot which Palmiro Paredes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Valentim in the 41st minute of play forced Maragota's goalkeeper Bernardo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Os Côdeas's Palmiro Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Amaro in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Amaro was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Fonseca's late challenge caught a Os Côdeas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maragota's Bruno Fonseca got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bernardo Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Valentim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 60 minute of play. Miguel Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Os Côdeas's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Amaro came free, but Palmiro Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Amaro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Palmiro Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermano Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bernardo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maragota's Jaime Faria, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Maragota. In the 90th minute, Miguel Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Diego Valentim struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bernardo Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Côdeas. The Maragota supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Os Côdeas's performance. The match ended with a win for Os Côdeas.
