Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elias Boaventura kicked off to start the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Fábio Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beirolas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Boaventura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bernardo Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute of the match Lucas Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Vasconcelos skillfully saved the ball. Elias Boaventura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Viana having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesualdo Aragão got free with Bernardo Viana in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jesualdo Aragão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, Miguel Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beirolas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marzagao FC the free kick. After 33 played minutes Beirolas got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Araújo. Alexandre Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Beirolas's Bernardo Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Beirolas from getting a goal against them. Elias Boaventura might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Boaventura ran back to his position shaking his head. Beirolas's Bernardo Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Beirolas from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Setúbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Beirolas got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Vieira. 58 minutes into the game, Marzagao FC's Jesualdo Aragão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 64 minutes into the match, Beirolas's goal looked a bit too open when Jesualdo Aragão came free, but Bernardo Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Vasconcelos having to interfere. Marzagao FC's Eduardo Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Marzagao FC from getting a goal against them. When Ricardo Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Beirolas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Viana came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagao FC's Jesualdo Aragão. But to his dismay, Jesualdo Aragão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Elias Boaventura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bernardo Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marzagao FC's Vicente Neto got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Lucas Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Vasconcelos skillfully saved the ball.
