Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, Umbria FC's Rogério Dantas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valter Quinaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rogério Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Valter Quinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustavo Bernardes fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ameal's protests and gave Gustavo Bernardes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Ameal getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gustavo Bernardes hit a great ball. When Umbria FC's Lúcio Cunha in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Ameal's goalie prevented a goal. Gustavo Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Gustavo Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Ameal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Palmeira couldn't finish the play. SC Ameal's Nicolau Lima suffered a sore knee after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lúcio Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Lúcio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Lúcio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ameal's Valter Quinaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valter Quinaz made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rogério Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Valter Quinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Cunha in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Umbria FC booed when SC Ameal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Ramires didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 54thth minute of the game Rogério Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Ameal's Valter Quinaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caetano Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Ribeiro having to interfere. Valter Quinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ameal's zone, Lúcio Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Quinaz came out of the goal and Lúcio Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Vicente Ramires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umbria FC's Rogério Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Caetano Valverde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Quinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Cunha in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ameal's goalkeeper Valter Quinaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Rogério Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valter Quinaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 91 minutes, Caetano Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ameal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caetano Valverde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delfim Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Valverde in the 96th minute. Umbria FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
