Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Brás got the match started through his kick off. Telmo Castilho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Pinho. Nespereira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, SC Beira's goal looked a bit too open when António Brás came free, but Jorge Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jorge Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Beira's Jorge Cortez got control of the ball when Pedro Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Pedro Freitas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Beira's Jorge Cortez. Jorge Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Cortez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but António Brás showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. SC Beira's Jorge Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SC Beira from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute António Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Beira's Geraldo Mendonça got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of SC Beira booed when Nespereira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sabino Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Neto in the 42nd minute of play forced Nespereira's goalkeeper Joaquim Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabino Neto scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabino Neto made a kick off. Sabino Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Joaquim Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, Nespereira's António Brás made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Beira's Jorge Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Brás in the 62nd minute of play. Salvador Porto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Joaquim Pinho made a huge save. António Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If António Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Cortez having to interfere. Jorge Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Geraldo Mendonça hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, António Brás notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of SC Beira's Jorge Cortez. Jorge Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Norberto Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Beira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nespereira the free kick. Norberto Monteiro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, António Brás put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Cortez. Jorge Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Brás's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Beira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nespereira.
