Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cachouca FC's Reinaldo Figueiras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Reinaldo Figueiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Figueiras notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Abegoaria's Sebastião Santos. Sebastião Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastião Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Figueiras in the 14th minute of the match. Alfredo Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cachouca FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Cachouca FC's Durval Santiago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cachouca FC's Geraldo Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Veiga in the 25th minute of play. Reinaldo Figueiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sebastião Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Augusto Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Abegoaria's Sebastião Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Figueiras in the 30th minute of play. Sebastião Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Augusto Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augusto Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geraldo Belém having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, Augusto Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Geraldo Belém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Alfredo Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SC Abegoaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Veiga couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Augusto Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Abegoaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Belém was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Sebastião Santos made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Durval Santiago sent off a good shot on target. Geraldo Belém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Veiga's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When SC Abegoaria's Alfredo Veiga in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachouca FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Veiga in the 93rd minute of play forced Cachouca FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Belém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cachouca FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Abegoaria.
