Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cendufe FC's Delfim Cunha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simão Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. André Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Simão Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coulo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cendufe FC the free kick. Cendufe FC's André Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Bessa in the 8th minute of play. Hélder Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Leiria having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Cendufe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Leite to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Bessa in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Fontes having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Cendufe FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coulo FC:s goal. The referee gave Coulo FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simão Luz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cendufe FC's André Fontes. 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Cendufe FC's goalkeeper André Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Amorim. If Hélder Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, Hélder Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cendufe FC and the Coulo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Cendufe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Santos to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Marques during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Joaquim Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Luz, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Bessa was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Cendufe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Amorim came free, but André Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Coulo FC booed when Cendufe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Marco Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Henrique Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Marco Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coulo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrique Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Marco Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes of play Coulo FC's Simão Macedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Coulo FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Simão Macedo hit a great ball. The long shot by Armando Valente in the 94th minute really tested José Leiria's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Amorim in the 97th minute of play forced Cendufe FC's goalkeeper André Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coulo FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
