The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Vaz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Amílcar Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Pacheco in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Guerreiro saved SC Aveloso from getting behind. After having played for 80 minutes, Amadeu Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Aveloso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Coimbra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Álvaro Pedroso made a huge save. SC Aveloso's Hélder Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Pacheco in the 84th minute of play. SC Aveloso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ervideiro the free kick. Amadeu Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Basílio Simões took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hélder Guerreiro. SC Aveloso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
