The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertino Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Murilo Sabrosa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 62 played minutes, Lajes FC's Adolfo Leal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Máximo Malafaia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lajes FC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Gaspar in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máximo Malafaia saved futurainbow from getting behind. Albertino Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Malafaia having to interfere. Daniel Ribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jorge Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertino Martins in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máximo Malafaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lajes FC's Jorge Guarda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Lajes FC from getting a goal against them. Máximo Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Albertino Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lajes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Malafaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to futurainbow getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Humberto Fraga hit a great ball.
