Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Avinjes's Óscar Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avinjes's Óscar Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murilo Mafra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Fernandes went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Fernandes in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Mafra saved Miradouro from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Armando Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avinjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avinjes were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Miradouro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Soares took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Júlio Nunes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Murilo Mafra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Guarda in the 24th minute of play forced Miradouro's goalkeeper Murilo Mafra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Óscar Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Miradouro's Serafim Eanes got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Óscar Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miradouro's Murilo Mafra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Gonçalves in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Miradouro's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Fernandes came free, but Murilo Mafra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Óscar Gonçalves got in the 42nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Murilo Mafra handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Armando Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Murilo Mafra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Miradouro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avinjes were winning 0-1.
Murilo Mafra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Gonçalves in the 52nd minute of the match. When Avinjes's Óscar Gonçalves in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Murilo Mafra guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 55thth minute of the game Óscar Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miradouro's Murilo Mafra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miradouro's goalkeeper Murilo Mafra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Óscar Gonçalves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Murilo Mafra. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Miradouro's zone, Óscar Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Mafra came out of the goal and Óscar Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Gonçalves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 69 minutes into the match, Fabrício Moniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Maia. Avinjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrício Moniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 72nd match minute, Miradouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Armando Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miradouro's Murilo Mafra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Miradouro from getting a goal against them. After 76 minutes, Fabrício Moniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miradouro and the Avinjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Miradouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Moniz to maneuver through the defense. The Avinjes fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Avinjes's Armando Fernandes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute, Luís Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Armando Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Óscar Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avinjes played a much better game than Miradouro and deserved their victory. The Miradouro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
