Varziela's Álvaro Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Vasques in the 14th minute of play. Varziela's Nuno Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristiano Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Louredo FC's Mauro Moniz in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varziela's goalie prevented a goal. Álvaro Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Moniz in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Nuno Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Gameiro. Louredo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Louredo FC's zone, Nuno Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Gameiro came out of the goal and Nuno Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Henriques made a kick off. Álvaro Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Vasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Henriques in the 56th minute of play forced Louredo FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Gameiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Louredo FC's Gualter Valadão got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Louredo FC's Albertino Cortez got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 68th minute Heitor Vasques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louredo FC. Teodoro Gameiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Amorim in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Nuno Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Gameiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nuno Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Teodoro Gameiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Amorim in the 88th minute of the match. If Mauro Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
