Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardo Patrício kicked off to start the match. Rui Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Falcão hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes, Fabrício Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Martinchel FC and the Coelheiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabrício Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Rui Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martinchel FC's Adelino Gama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Coelheiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Barros. Bernardo Patrício took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Pinheiro. Tomás Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adelino Gama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Aleixo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Coelheiros FC's Jorge Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Gama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomás Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Martinchel FC's Bernardo Patrício. But to his dismay, Bernardo Patrício quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Coelheiros FC's Jorge Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Gama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Aleixo was the one to do the kick off. Rogério Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tomás Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coelheiros FC's Rui Aleixo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Martinchel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Gama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rui Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Aleixo in the 87th minute of play forced Martinchel FC's goalkeeper Adelino Gama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Coelheiros FC's Jorge Gaspar in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martinchel FC's goalie prevented a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Rui Aleixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adelino Gama. Martinchel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Aleixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
